The client’s requirement was to design an office building  to bring together all Panchayath officers and departmental functions under one roof. Along with workspaces for various departments, the project includes a public hall for community gatherings and a dedicated meeting room for official discussions. The aim was to create a functional, accessible, and welcoming civic space that supports daily operations and community interaction.

The project was coordinated by the Civil Engineering Department of Government Engineering College Thrissur, with structural consultancy by the Assistant Professors from the department, Ajayakumar V.T. , Jiji Gopan V.G. and  Deepak B. Architectural design and consultancy was handled by the studio, ensuring thoughtful planning and contextual design.

This panchayat office is conceived as a simple, efficient structure with a clear vertical zoning of functions, centered around a common circulation spine and a rear vertical core. The design features open verandahs along the southern façade on all floors, protected by a secondary cladding layer that defines the architectural identity.
